Students explore and document how businesses operate in their own community, then exchange findings with partner classes internationally to compare business structures, practices, and challenges. Through a live video call, they share observations and identify common patterns and differences in how businesses serve their local economies.

Students research their country's traditional dessert, gather photos or simple video clips, and create a 1 to 2 minute introduction video explaining what it is, why it matters to their culture, and what makes it special. They exchange videos with partner classes during July to discover desserts from around the world.

Students work in mixed international teams to design and propose concrete, feasible climate action solutions tailored to both their local context and their partner school's needs, drawing on their research and cross-cultural insights. They develop an action plan, prototype, or campaign that addresses shared or complementary climate challenges and present it to their communities for potential implementation.

Students record short personal audio or video messages (2-3 minutes) about a global challenge they care about, then exchange these with a partner class to listen, compare perspectives, and identify common concerns across different countries and cultures.

Students research and document climate change impacts and water access challenges in their own communities, then share findings with partner classes globally to compare local environmental issues. They explore how these challenges differ across regions and discuss what they discover together.

Students create their own week-long cultural showcase for the Global Show, Culture Glow platform, designing presentations, recipes, tradition explanations, and interactive activities that authentically represent their own city or country. They lead a live video call with an international classroom, presenting their culture and facilitating dialogue about how their traditions connect to global themes like sustainability, community, or identity.

Students identify one pressing issue in their own community, research how it connects to broader global challenges, and share their findings with a partner class through a short video or written reflection. They compare how the same issue manifests differently across their two regions and note what they learn from each other's contexts.

Students engage in connection & empathy activities focused on Open Class is a learning activity that is open to observation by other teachers (observers) with the aim of improving the quality of learning through collaboration and reflection..

Students exchange personal climate narratives and local environmental experiences with international peers through digital storytelling, then collaboratively create a multimedia presentation that highlights diverse climate perspectives and cultural responses to environmental change across different regions.

Students research electricity availability, infrastructure, and practical uses in their own communities and partner countries through interviews and data analysis, then collaboratively investigate how access to electricity affects education, health, and economic opportunities globally.

Students research waste management systems and climate impact in their own region, then compare findings with partner schools internationally through shared research presentations and analysis. They investigate how waste contributes to climate change and document best practices from multiple countries to understand global solutions.
