Students research how language shapes culture by interviewing or video-calling international partners about idioms, slang, and expressions unique to their region, then analyze patterns in how different cultures express emotions, humor, or relationships through words. They present their findings to show how language both reflects and influences the communities that speak it.

Students test variations of Newtons Cradle using different materials, ball sizes, and string lengths to measure how efficiently energy transfers in each setup, recording data on swing heights and displacement patterns. Working with their international partner class via a live video call, they compare results, analyze why some designs lose energy faster than others, and discuss how real-world factors like friction and air resistance affect the ideal physics model.

Students in international groups share a traditional story from their own culture through written summaries or brief recorded readings, then compare stories from partner classes to identify common themes like heroism, wisdom, or family values. They document similarities and differences in a simple shared spreadsheet or discussion forum.

This project is part of the Global Academy program run by the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education in cooperation with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs of the Republic of Korea. About 15 high school students from Korea will be paired with students from countries that supported South Korea during the Korean War. These countries may have sent soldiers, medical teams, supplies, money, or other forms of support. From September to December, students will communicate with their partners through Padlet. There will be no live online meetings. Students will share their school life, culture, and ideas about the Korean War. They will also talk about remembrance, human rights, peace, and living together peacefully. Students will exchange questions and messages online at their own pace. They will also send postcards, small cultural gifts, and local snacks to their partners by international mail. The project will use about six hours of club activity time from September to December. We want to keep the project simple and easy for both students and teachers. Most activities will be done asynchronously, so each school can take part at a convenient time. Students collaborate with their partner class to design and test an original, practical toolkit or guide that teaches Kiswahili language mastery using the most effective strategies they've discovered. They create sample lessons, practice activities, or digital resources that blend both classrooms' insights and test them with peers before finalizing the toolkit for other learners.

Daeil Tourism High School is a specialized high school in the field of tourism located in Seoul, Korea. Our school conducts activities to express gratitude to the countries that participated in the Korean War that broke out in 1950 through various exchanges and campaigns. We look for a school that will conduct cultural exchanges as well as exchanges of grateful history with Daeil Tourism High School.

Students conduct interviews with their partner class about school life, analyzing differences and similarities in subjects taught, break times, classroom layouts, and student responsibilities. They create comparison charts or presentations that reveal patterns about how school life varies around the world.

Se espera que, al finalizar el proyecto, los alumnos comprendan: - que la identidad adolescente es una construcción dinámica influenciada por factores personales, sociales, culturales y tecnológicos. - cómo investigar, comparar y analizar distintas realidades culturales utilizando entrevistas, encuestas, análisis de datos y diálogo intercultural. - cómo comunicar ideas y hallazgos de manera respetuosa utilizando distintos formatos digitales y colaborativos. - que conocer otras culturas permite desarrollar una mirada crítica sobre nuestras propias prácticas digitales y construir una ciudadanía digital más consciente.

Students design and execute a complete clothing repair project, applying satin stitching techniques to personalize items by stitching names or meaningful patterns onto repaired garments. They create a photo guide or short video showing their repair process and present their finished pieces to their international partner class, explaining the cultural significance of naming and mending clothes in their community.

Students explore a simple profit and loss statement together, learning what revenue, costs, and net profit mean through real examples from their own communities, then share their findings with a partner class via video call to compare how different businesses track money.

Students from partner classes survey and compare their own classroom approaches to learning Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics, then share findings through videos, infographics, or written reflections. They identify common practices, differences in teaching methods, and what works best in their own contexts.
