Los alumnos de 1er año del nivel secundario investigarán cómo influyen las redes sociales en la construcción de la identidad adolescente en diferentes culturas, y las características que asume esta etapa de la vida en los distintos países involucrados. Se espera que, al finalizar el proyecto, los alumnos comprendan: - que la identidad adolescente es una construcción dinámica influenciada por factores personales, sociales, culturales y tecnológicos. - cómo investigar, comparar y analizar distintas realidades culturales utilizando entrevistas, encuestas, análisis de datos y diálogo intercultural. - cómo comunicar ideas y hallazgos de manera respetuosa utilizando distintos formatos digitales y colaborativos. - que conocer otras culturas permite desarrollar una mirada crítica sobre nuestras propias prácticas digitales y construir una ciudadanía digital más consciente.

Students design and create their own pieces of clothing or fabric art using different textures and colour combinations inspired by what they learned from their partner class, then exchange photos of their finished pieces and share the stories behind their designs in a final video call. They reflect on how their designs blend ideas from both cultures and communities.

Mixed international teams of 6 students (3 from each institution) tackle the real client brief hands-on, co-creating a targeted communication campaign or intervention proposal that addresses the challenge while respecting cultural values and glocalization principles. They develop creative assets, messaging strategy, and implementation recommendations, then present their proposal to the industry partner and both faculties in a final showcase.

Students design and launch a collaborative tree-planting project with their partner classes, creating a practical plan that includes species selection, planting locations, care instructions, and long-term monitoring tailored to each region's ecology and culture. They produce low-tech resources, coordinate the planting effort across classrooms, and establish a simple system to track growth and impact over time.

Students work with their international partner class to create an original communication guide, toolkit, or training resource that helps other young people communicate effectively across cultures. Students design and launch a one-week Zero-Waste Lunch Challenge with their international partners, creating joint campaign materials in English like posters, slogans, videos, and pledges to encourage their schools to waste less food. They measure results before and after the challenge, compare outcomes with their partner class, and produce a collaborative digital exhibition showing their research, solutions, campaign work, and the real impact they achieved.

Students explore and document the plants and animals living in and around Mérida, Yucatán, creating simple drawings or photos with labels. They share their discoveries with a partner class through a video call to compare the biodiversity in their different regions and learn what makes their local environment special.

Students explore traditional foods and natural remedies from their own communities, then share photos, recipes, and descriptions with partner classes internationally to discover similarities and differences. They create a shared digital gallery comparing how different cultures use science to understand the healing properties of everyday foods.
