Students identify 3-5 everyday objects from their own lives that they believe future generations should understand about 2024, then share photos and stories with a partner class internationally, comparing what different cultures and communities chose to preserve and why.

Students will collaborate with peers from another country to explore language, culture, history, and everyday life. They will introduce themselves and their school, share simple information about their country and culture, and learn about similarities and differences between the two communities. Through English communication, students will practice reading, writing, speaking, and presentation skills. They will also explore basic topics from Social Studies, History, and Art by creating drawings, posters, short presentations, or cultural cards. The project will encourage teamwork, creativity, cultural understanding, and respectful communication between students.

Connect your students with international peers for an engaging, authentic exchange! In this project, students are paired up to exchange text messages and voice notes about their everyday lives, school routines, and cultural surroundings. Using English as a lingua franca (with room for supportive language exchange), partners explore what an English class and student life look like in different parts of the world. Throughout the exchange, pairs will reflect on cultural similarities and differences, culminating in a collaborative summary shared on a joint Class Padlet. It’s a low-pressure, interactive way to boost listening, speaking, and digital communication skills!

Students research and document a successful business from their local community, then share their findings with partner classes internationally through a structured comparison template. They analyze how local businesses operate and identify common or contrasting practices across different regions.

Students explore and document sporting and social activities happening in their own communities, then share photos, videos, or descriptions with a partner class to discover what sustainable learning through sports looks like in different places. They compare how their communities use sports to build skills, friendships, and positive change.

Students create a complete cleanup action plan for their school, including collection schedules, storage systems, and a sustainable charcoal production process they've tested and refined. They develop an instructional guide or video to share with their partner class, demonstrating how other communities can replicate their solution to reduce plastic waste and create renewable cooking fuel.

Students collect short sentences from their own daily lives, such as song lyrics, ads, or chats, and highlight the subject and verb in each. They share examples with the partner class during a live video call and compare how each language handles agreement.

This September, we celebrate the International Day of Peace in classrooms. Ask your students: what can your class do to bring more peace to school? Then guide them to create a small action that shows their commitment. It could be a drawing, a mural, a class promise, or any format they choose. One question, and your classroom connects with others around the world doing the same. Note: When sharing photos or videos, protect students' identities. Show hands, work, or backs of heads, not faces.

Students record short videos of themselves or their families preparing a favorite local , then post these on Padlet alongside descriptions of the ingredients and flavors. They watch videos from partner classrooms showing their local foods and create a simple comparison chart of similarities and differences they notice.

Student teams co-design a practical initiative, such as a campaign, mentoring program, or policy proposal, addressing a women's issue they investigated. They build prototypes or materials together across classes, test them with community members, and present the refined solution to local stakeholders.
