SPORTS AND HOBBIES IN YOUR COUNTRY

1. Opening & Greetings (5 minutes total)
•
Each teacher greets the group (1–2 minutes per teacher).
•
Keep it warm and simple: name, school, country.
•
Example: “Hello everyone! We are from in [City, Country], and we are excited to share with you!”
2. Country Presentations (15 minutes per country)
Each country follows the same structure for consistency:
1.
Introduction to the country (2–3 minutes)
o
Show a map or a few slides.
o
Mention location, flag, and a fun fact.

National Anthem (2–3 minutes)
o
Play a short part of your national anthem (video/audio).
3.
City/Region Presentation (3–4 minutes)
o
Show pictures or a short video of your city/region.
o
Highlight traditions, culture, or something unique.
4.
Sports & Hobbies Presentation (6–7 minutes)
o
Students describe and explain sports/hobbies that are popular in their country.
o
Show short student-made videos of them practicing or talking about these activities.
o
Students can narrate in English (or agreed language) while showing the video.
3. Interaction Time (5 minutes per country)
After each presentation:
•
Open the floor for comments and questions from other students.
•
Option A: Live Q&A (students ask about the sports/hobbies shown).
•
Option B: A short interactive game, e.g., Kahoot quiz with 4–5 questions about what was just presented.
4. Closing (10 minutes total)
•
Group reflection: Teachers thank everyone for participating and highlight what was learned.
•
Group picture: All students turn cameras on, smile, and take a screenshot together.
