Project Description: One World, One Light is a global Diwali project to spread messages of peace and unity across cultures. We invite people from around the world to post a Diwali greeting on our digital map, symbolizing light and hope from each country. Objective: To bring people together from every corner of the world, sharing Diwali greetings as a way to promote global unity and peace. Activity: Participants locate their country on our interactive Padlet map and post a Diwali greeting.

Students explore and share the learning methods and study strategies that help them most, comparing what works in their own classroom with approaches used by partner classes around the world. They create simple visual cards or short videos showing their favorite study techniques and exchange these with international peers to discover new ways to learn.

Students document their own cone gardening setup, photograph their plants at different growth stages, and share observations with a partner class via video call to compare growing conditions, challenges, and early harvests. They create a simple visual comparison chart showing how cone gardens differ across their two locations.

Students research and create visual profiles of different countries and cultures, then share their discoveries with a partner class through photos, maps, and short descriptions. They compare daily life, traditions, and celebrations to discover similarities and differences with their own communities.

Students learn the basics of OpenSCAD through guided tutorials, create a simple 3D shape like a Lego brick or cube, and export it as an STL file. They share their source code and printed or rendered images with a partner class abroad via video call, comparing how different students approached the same design challenge.

Students write a few MCQ test questions on a topic they know well, then share them with partner classes and try answering each other's questions. They compare which questions were easy or tricky and why.

Students explore and share their personal hopes and dreams for the future through drawings, written reflections, or short videos, then exchange these with a partner class to discover what bright futures look like in different countries and cultures. They compare similarities and differences in their aspirations and celebrate the diversity of dreams across their global classroom connection.

Students create an original Scrabble TTS game featuring adjectives from the textbook images, then design challenge rounds that teach their partner class about personality and appearance vocabulary in creative ways. They build the game rules, test them with the other classroom, and refine based on feedback to create a reusable learning tool.

Students examine the e-books more deeply to identify the environmental problems and solutions presented, then research how their own region addresses similar issues. They post comparative analysis on Padlet, evaluating which approaches work best and why, and respond to classmates' observations about cultural differences in environmental thinking.

Students read a short biography of a professional like Shivani Sharma, then write and share brief profiles of local role models with partner classes. They compare career paths and qualifications with students abroad.

Students research the cultural stories, ingredients, and traditions behind their lunch box choices, then analyze what they learn from partner classes to understand how geography, climate, and family customs shape what children eat. They create a visual comparison showing connections between lunch boxes and the communities they come from.

Students work together to write and illustrate an original short story that represents something important about their community or culture, then exchange it with the partner class who creates their own story in response. Both classes share their finished storybooks during a live video celebration, discussing how their stories connect and what they learned about each other's worlds.
