Voices from the Past: Reviving Local Stories Through Interviews and Technology

Students interview older community members, check records, and analyze how each forgotten site or person changed local life. They present their evidence and compare findings with partner classes during the video exchange.

Kick-off: Our Town's Forgotten Stories

Students discuss what forgotten places, houses, or people they know in their community and meet the partner class to agree on shared goals and how the exchange will work.

In pairs, students research records, maps, and archives, then interview older community members about one forgotten site or person and document how it changed local life.
