프로젝트 활동
Meet Our Community: Introduction and Tradition Exploration
Students introduce themselves, their school, and daily routines to the partner class. They then begin investigating one traditional game, celebration, or cultural practice from their local community, interviewing family members or community members to understand why it matters and what values it reflects.
Research and Document Our Tradition
Students deepen their research on their chosen tradition by gathering information about its history, how it is celebrated, and what it reveals about their culture's identity. They create drawings, posters, or written descriptions to document their findings and prepare to share with the partner class.
Live Exchange: Sharing Traditions and Stories
Students participate in a video call with their partner class to introduce their traditions, ask questions, and listen to the partner class's traditions. They take notes on similarities and differences they notice and ask follow-up questions to deepen understanding.
Compare and Reflect on Our Cultures
Students analyze the traditions from both communities by creating a comparison chart or concept map showing similarities and differences. They write reflections on what these traditions reveal about each culture's values, history, and identity, and what bridges they can build between communities.
Final Presentation: What We Learned From Each Other
Each class prepares and delivers a final presentation showcasing the traditions they studied, the partner class's traditions, and key insights about cultural similarities and differences. Students reflect on how this project deepened their respect and curiosity toward other cultures and their own.
