Hello Friends: Meet Our Partner Class and Count Together
Students meet their partner class by video, share their names and favourite numbers, and count out loud together. Children show a counting game they love from home.
Counting Objects at Home and at School
Students use buttons, blocks, or beans to solve simple number puzzles like 'How many apples are on the plate?'. Teachers help them talk about how their families count and play with numbers.
Our Number Games, Shared Through Photos
Students take photos of their favourite counting puzzle and share them with the partner class in a shared gallery. They look at photos from the other country and talk about what is the same and what is different.
Counting Songs and Games Around the World
Students learn a counting rhyme or game from the partner class and teach their own game back. They record short videos of themselves counting and playing together.
Our Favourite Answers Show
Students show their favourite counting puzzle and answer to the partner class in a short live video call. They say one thing they learned about how children in the other country count.
