Writing Our Own Temple Adventure

Students meet their partner class on a live video call, introduce themselves, and discuss the girl trapped in the temple, Julie, and her big brother. They share first ideas about who the characters are and where the rescue could happen.

In pairs, students plan their new chapter by identifying the main characters, setting, and problem, and by writing a rescue plan that shows how Julie and her brother save the girl. Pairs from both classes share drafts through a shared board and give each other feedback.

Pairs use a digital tool to draw a map of the temple with the rescue route and then write their chapter to match the map. They compare their rescue plan with a partner class's version and decide which ideas work best for Julie and her brother.

Pairs present their finished chapters during a live video call while the partner class listens closely. The partner class gives friendly suggestions to improve the plot and clarity, and students note which ideas they will use in revisions.
