Students practice simple greetings and meet the partner class through a short video call or recorded hellos. They learn a few words from each other's languages.
Listen and Find the Key Words
Students listen to short recorded dialogues from the partner class about school and home. They pick out key words and everyday phrases and draw pictures to match them.
Compare Our Words with Theirs
Students compare the school and home phrases in their class with those from the partner class. They sort the phrases into things that are the same and things that are different.
Act Out the Conversations
Pairs act out short conversations using the phrases they heard. Classmates guess what the characters are saying to check their understanding.
Our Everyday Words Mural
Students work together to make a class mural showing school and home words from both classes. Each group adds pictures and phrases to show what they learned.
Which Words Helped Us Most?
Students share which phrases helped them understand their partners best and explain their choices kindly to their team. They also share a short thank-you message with the partner class.
