Asking and Answering Everyday Questions

Students learn simple English greetings and practice saying their name and how they are. They meet their partner class through a short video call or recorded greeting video.

Students practice questions like 'What is your name?', 'How are you?' and 'What is your favorite color?' in pairs. They then ask these questions to the partner class through a shared pen pal exchange and write down the answers.

Students sort the answers from both classes into a simple chart and note what is the same and what is different. They draw or label pictures to show each finding.

Both classes add their drawings and words to a shared mural about what they learned. Students share the mural with the partner class and each suggest one way to work together better next time.
