Læringsmål
Students will be able to identify and describe renewable energy systems, AI applications, and robotics relevant to sustainability challenges in their local and partner communities.
Students will be able to apply critical thinking and creative problem-solving to design a renewable energy solution enhanced by AI or robotics that addresses a real sustainability challenge.
Students will be able to analyze and compare feedback from international partner classrooms to distinguish which design features most effectively solve the identified sustainability problem.
Students will be able to evaluate their prototype's performance against sustainability goals and peer feedback, then assess how well their solution aligns with relevant Sustainable Development Goals.
Students will be able to design and build an innovative, working prototype of a smart renewable energy system that integrates collaborative insights from their international team and demonstrates transformative action in their community.

Projektaktiviteter
Energy Challenges Around the World
Students explore renewable energy and sustainability challenges in their own community and learn about their partner class's region through videos, articles, and a live or recorded introduction. They map local and global energy issues and identify one challenge their team wants to solve.
Design and Build Your Smart Energy Prototype
Working in international teams, students brainstorm AI or robotics enhancements to a renewable energy system, sketch their design, gather materials, and build a working model or detailed prototype. They test it, document how it works, and prepare it for feedback from their partner class.
Exchange Feedback with Partner Class
Teams share their prototypes (via photos, videos, or descriptions) with their partner class and receive structured feedback on how well the design solves the sustainability challenge. Students analyze the feedback, identify the strongest features, and note what could be improved.
Refine and Evaluate Against SDGs
Teams refine their prototype based on partner feedback and evaluate how their solution aligns with relevant Sustainable Development Goals. They create a final presentation showing their design journey, what they learned from their international partners, and how their innovation addresses real-world sustainability.
Showcase Your Solution and Reflect
Teams present their final smart energy prototype and explain the problem it solves, the role of AI or robotics, and how feedback from their partner class shaped the design. They reflect on what they learned about renewable energy, teamwork across cultures, and their role as agents of change.
