Projektaktiviteter

1

Consumption in Our World: Setting the Stage

Students explore their own consumption habits and values, then discuss how wealth and cultural identity shape what people buy and display in their communities. This icebreaker introduces the core question: what does superficial success look like where we live?

Varighed: 60 minutter
2

Mapping Local Consumption: Research and Documentation

Students conduct field observations or interviews in their communities to identify where overconsumption happens, who is affected, and what cultural values drive purchasing decisions. They document findings with photos, notes, and sketches to build evidence for later comparison.

Varighed: 240 minutter
3

Exchange and Analyze: Partner Class Perspectives

Students review observations and data from the partner classroom, then work in small groups to compare consumption patterns, wealth disparities, and cultural attitudes across contexts. They identify similarities, differences, and underlying causes using critical thinking and collaborative discussion.

Varighed: 180 minutter
4

Building the Shared Visual Map

Using findings from both classrooms, students co-create a visual map (poster, digital collage, or annotated diagram) that shows where and how overconsumption occurs in different cultural contexts, highlighting connections between wealth, values, and superficial success. This is a hands-on, collaborative production.

Varighed: 300 minutter
5

Peer Review and Iteration

Students exchange their visual map with the partner class for structured feedback on clarity, accuracy, and depth of analysis. They then refine the map based on feedback and add insights that strengthen the global perspective.

Varighed: 120 minutter
Format: Peer feedback skema
6

Reflecting on Global Patterns and Personal Change

Students present their final visual map and reflect on what they learned about consumption, wealth, and cultural values across the two communities. They discuss how this understanding might shape their own choices and propose one actionable idea for promoting more conscious consumption in their school or community.

Varighed: 120 minutter
Format: Slides-præsentation
7

Creating an Action Plan for Conscious Consumption

Students work in teams to design a small campaign, initiative, or proposal that challenges superficial consumption in their school or community. They present their action plan and commit to at least one concrete step they will take.

Varighed: 60 minutter
Format: Handlingsplan
