Projekttidslinje
Launch the Global Friendship Project
Teacher presents the project purpose, goals, and collaboration structure with the partner school in India, explaining how students will exchange cultural stories, ask questions in English, and build friendships across continents.
Teacher shows a brief welcome video from the Indian partner class to spark excitement and curiosity about the international connection.
Students discuss what they already know about India and share their initial questions and expectations for meeting their new international classmates.
Exchange Cultural Stories with Your Global Friends
Students view the Indian partner class's introduction video or mural on the Project Board and read their cultural stories and descriptions posted asynchronously.
Each student writes 2-3 questions in simple English about the Indian peers' cultures, traditions, or interests, posting their questions in the group chat or on the Project Board for the partner class to answer.
Students receive and read responses from their Indian classmates, discovering similarities and differences in traditions, celebrations, and values between their two cultures.
Working in pairs or small teams, students collaborate to create a comparison chart or visual representation (using Google Slides or Canva) showing cultural elements from both their classroom and the Indian partner class.
Students post their cultural exchanges and comparison materials on the Project Board, creating a shared digital space where both classes can view and comment on each other's work.
Guide students to use the group chat to have direct asynchronous conversations with specific Indian peers, asking follow-up questions and sharing appreciation for what they learned.
