Projektaktiviteter
Kick-off video call and meet the partner class
Students meet their partner class, share their local context on women's equality, and agree on shared norms and a common project theme.
Joint research on women's issues in both communities
Teams gather evidence on a women's equality issue locally and abroad, using interviews, observation and data, and organize findings in a shared space.
Compare root causes and local manifestations across cultures
Students analyze the causes and everyday effects of the issue in each context, identifying shared factors and those specific to each community.
Generate and evaluate alternative solution ideas
Cross-class teams brainstorm possible solutions and assess their feasibility and potential impact using community feedback and international perspectives.
Co-design and prototype the women's equality initiative
Mixed teams build a practical initiative such as a campaign, mentoring program or policy proposal, and test prototype materials with community members.
Refine the solution after community testing
Teams revise their initiative based on feedback from community members and partner classes, strengthening its scalability and sustainability.
Present the refined proposal to local stakeholders
Students present their final solution to local stakeholders and partner classes, then reflect together on what they learned about global and local equality.
Case study: Women's equality in our community and a partner community
Student teams select one real case of a women's equality issue, such as pay gaps or access to health care, and analyze it in depth using local and partner-class evidence. They identify who is affected, what policies or barriers exist, and what has already been tried.
