Welcome to Our Classroom: Virtual Tour Introduction
Students watch a short video tour of their own classroom, identifying and naming key areas, subjects, and daily routines. They draw or label a simple map of their classroom and share one favorite learning spot with the class to get excited about comparing with their partner school.
Explore and Compare: Virtual Tours and Observation Notes
Students watch the partner class's virtual tour video and take simple notes or draw pictures of what they notice about their classroom, subjects, and routines. They complete a guided comparison chart (with pictures and words) showing what is the same and what is different between the two classrooms.
Write and Ask: Letters to Our Partner Class
Students write short, simple letters to their partner classmates sharing one observation they noticed in the tour and asking one friendly question about how they learn or what they do each day. The teacher helps students craft questions that show real curiosity about the other classroom's routines and teaching methods.
Live Chat and Share Findings
Students join a live video call with the partner class to exchange letters, answer each other's questions, and talk about the similarities and differences they discovered. Afterward, students create a simple drawing or poster showing what they learned about how classes around the world are both alike and different.
