Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to identify and describe how characters in The Name Jar demonstrate cooperation and peaceful communication, and recognize connections to their own experiences with diverse peers from partner classrooms.
Students will be able to apply collaborative strategies and intercultural communication skills when working with international partners to share personal stories about identity, belonging, and overcoming cultural differences.
Students will be able to analyze and compare how cooperation and peaceful dialogue are portrayed in The Name Jar with real-world examples of partnership and conflict resolution from their local community and partner countries.
Students will be able to evaluate their own emotional intelligence and teamwork effectiveness throughout the project, assessing how intercultural communication strengthened their understanding of SDG16 (Peace) and SDG17 (Partnership) in building global citizenship.
