Happy Moments in Our Classroom

Students meet their partner class through a video hello and share one school moment that makes them smile. They practice naming how that moment feels.

Students draw pictures of the moments that make them feel happy and proud at school, then label the emotions they feel. They explain their drawings to classmates in small groups.

Pairs of students interview a partner classmate about their happy learning moments and school traditions. They compare pictures and talk about what makes each classroom special.

Students work together to build a shared mural that combines both classes' drawings and traditions. They choose which learning moments feel most positive and explain why.

Students talk about what makes a good leader and then choose a leadership title for someone in their community, such as a helper, a captain, or a mayor. They explain why that person is a good leader and what qualities they show.
