What Makes Me, Me? Cultural Identity Icebreaker

Students share one object, tradition, or story that represents their cultural identity and listen as classmates do the same. This warm-up helps everyone feel comfortable and ready for the international Zoom conversation.

Zoom Conversation and Collaborative Reflection

Students join the one-hour Zoom meeting with the international partner class to discuss cultural identity, actively listen to peers' stories, and take notes on insights and connections. Immediately after, they reflect on what they learned about themselves and others.

Create and Share Your Cultural Identity Artifact

Students design a multimedia presentation, video, digital poster, or written reflection that combines their own cultural identity insights with what they learned from international classmates. They create something shareable that shows how identity is both personal and globally connected.
