Where Does Our Water Come From?
Students explore the school's water sources and uses through guided observation and simple interviews with staff. They sketch the water path from the tap and list where water is used (bathrooms, kitchen, gardens), building excitement about becoming water detectives.
Measuring and Recording Water Usage
Students use simple tools (containers, timers, clipboards) to measure water flow at different taps and record how much water is used during the school day. They observe leaks, drips, and waste, then create a simple chart showing their findings.
Learning from Our Partner Class and Designing Solutions
Students receive water-usage data and observations from their international partner class, compare patterns, and discuss what they notice. Together with their class, they brainstorm practical solutions (fixing leaks, adding reminders, shorter showers) and choose the best ideas to propose.
Creating Our Water-Saving Campaign
Students work with their partner class to design a shared water conservation campaign using drawings, slogans, and pledges that both schools can display and use. They create posters, pledge cards, or simple videos showing why saving water matters.
Presenting Our Plan to School Leaders
Students present their water-usage report, findings, and proposed solutions to school leaders and staff. They explain their measurements, show their campaign materials, and ask for help putting their ideas into action.
