Students will be able to identify and describe a local historical site, story, house, or person using interview notes and records gathered from community members.

Students will be able to use digital tools such as maps, Padlet, Scratch, 3D modelling, or VR to recreate a forgotten local site or story for presentation in the partner class exchange.

Students will be able to analyze interview evidence and archival records to explain how each forgotten site or person changed local life, and compare these findings with partner classes during a live video exchange.

Students will be able to evaluate the reliability of their collected evidence and judge how well their digital reconstructions and shared findings promote intercultural understanding and teamwork with partner classrooms.

Kick-off: Our Town's Forgotten Stories

Students discuss what forgotten places, houses, or people they know in their community and meet the partner class to agree on shared goals and how the exchange will work.

Investigate and Interview: Uncovering Local Histories

In pairs, students research records, maps, and archives, then interview older community members about one forgotten site or person and document how it changed local life.

Durata: 300 minuti

Analyze Evidence and Check Reliability

Students review interview notes and records, judge how reliable each source is, and explain how the site or person shaped local life.

Durata: 180 minuti

Rebuild the Story with Digital Tools

Groups recreate their forgotten site or story using maps, Padlet, Scratch, 3D modelling, or VR, and prepare a short comparison with a partner class story.

Durata: 300 minuti

Live Exchange: Sharing Lost Stories Across Borders

Students present their digital reconstructions and findings in a live video call, compare them with the partner class, and reflect together on intercultural understanding and teamwork.
