Attivita del progetto
Meet the Partner Class and Share Favourite Tunes
Students introduce themselves and share a short piece of music they enjoy, explaining why it matters to them. Teachers use this kick-off video call to set up the exchange and build trust between the two classes.
Record and Explore Our Musical Roots
Students record a short clip of their own piano or keyboard practice, then research the melodies, rhythms, and chords they play and where they come from. They prepare notes to explain these origins to their partner classmates.
Compare Melodies Across Cultures in a Live Call
Pairs from each class play or describe their chosen pieces and discuss how the same melodies, rhythms, or chords feel different across cultures. Students listen closely and ask each other questions about cultural origins.
Compose an Original Fusion Piece Together
Mixed groups from both classes combine ideas from their favourite pieces to create a short original composition. They share drafts through simple offline notes or recordings and give each other feedback.
Showcase Our Shared Musical Journey
Students perform their original compositions and reflect on what they learned about intercultural musical connections. Both classes take part in a final live video call to celebrate the work together.
Live Online Concert: Showcasing Our Music to the Partner Class
Each student performs a short piece or original composition during a live video concert for the partner class and a small audience. Classmates give kind, specific feedback on stage presence, expression, and creativity.
