Share what you know- Building a culture of helping and learning

Students reflect on skills and knowledge they have (academic, creative, practical, social) and share them with classmates in a circle discussion. They listen to what others know and begin thinking about who might benefit from learning it.

Students choose one skill to teach, plan a simple lesson or demonstration (with notes, visuals, or a short script), and practice delivering it to a peer. They gather feedback on clarity and adjust their approach.

Students teach their chosen skill to a peer or younger student in their own class or, for partner classes, via a recorded video, live session, or written guide. They observe how the learner responds and take notes on what worked and what was surprising.

Students write or record a reflection on their teaching experience, describing what they taught, how the learner reacted, what they found challenging or rewarding, and what they learned about themselves as a teacher and helper.

Students gather to share highlights from their teaching experience, celebrating the different skills they taught and discussing how helping others felt. They reflect together on how small acts of knowledge-sharing create a chain of learning in their communities.
