Hello Hindi: Greetings Around Our World

Students and the teacher introduce themselves with a simple Hindi greeting like Namaste and wave hello. Students practice saying their names and share how they greet friends at home.

Students learn simple Hindi words for family members and colors through songs, picture cards, and actions. They practice naming them with partners and point to family photos they bring from home.

Students draw and label their own family and color picture cards in Hindi. They also record how their families greet each other in their own language, with the teacher's help.

Students use their Hindi greetings and color words in a short video call with the partner class. They take turns sharing their own greetings and listen with respect and interest to each other.

Students show their picture cards and say one greeting they learned from the partner class. Together they talk about what was the same and different in how children greet each other.
