Collecting and Sorting Nouns and Verbs
Students spend several weeks gathering pictures and objects from their classroom and home that show clear nouns and verbs. They sort their collection into two groups, label each item with the word, and create a simple visual chart showing nouns on one side and verbs on the other.
Matching Games and Flashcard Practice
Students play partner and small-group matching games using flashcards and toys to practice naming nouns and verbs. They take turns picking a card or object, saying the word aloud, and finding a match. Teacher rotates through groups to listen, correct gently, and celebrate effort.
Preparing for the International Video Exchange
