Research and Analyze: Barriers, Resources, and Solutions Across Cultures
Working in international teams with the partner class, students research climate barriers specific to each community, identify local resources and assets, and study how different cultures approach climate solutions. Teams create a shared research brief comparing their contexts and brainstorming feasible ideas.
Co-Design and Prototype: Build Your Climate Action Campaign
Teams develop a concrete, culturally-responsive climate action campaign that blends ideas from both communities. They create campaign materials (posters, social media, videos, or infographics), set measurable targets, and draft a simple implementation plan with timelines and success metrics.
Test, Gather Feedback, and Iterate
Teams present their campaign prototype to peers and community members for feedback, then refine their design based on what they learn. They document changes made and explain how feedback improved their solution's feasibility and impact.
Launch and Reflect: Showcase Your Climate Action Plan
Teams present their final climate campaign to the school and partner class, explaining the problem they addressed, how they combined local and global perspectives, and their concrete next steps for implementation. They reflect on what they learned about collaboration, climate action, and their role as global citizens.
