Obiettivi di apprendimento
Students will be able to identify and describe how universities in different countries utilize technology in teaching, recognizing similarities and differences in learning management systems and digital tools across institutions.
Students will be able to apply critical thinking to analyze and compare technological approaches to higher education across cultures, collaborating with international peers to construct shared insights about global educational practices.
Competenze da sviluppare
Attivita del progetto
Technology Wall and Icebreaker Exchange
Students post their experiences with university technology on a shared digital board (Padlet or similar), then watch a short video introduction from the partner class about their institution's tech landscape. This opens the conversation and builds initial connection.
Survey, Compare, and Document Findings
Students conduct a brief interview with a university teacher or peer about technology use and barriers, then compile findings into a shared comparison document with the partner class. They analyze patterns across both institutions to identify similarities and differences in learning management systems, digital tools, and adoption challenges.
Live Presentation and Peer Feedback Exchange
Each class presents their key findings and insights in a 20-minute live video call, then exchanges written feedback on what surprised them and what they learned about technology in higher education globally. This real-time dialogue builds intercultural understanding and validates shared challenges.
Collaborative Manifesto on Responsible Tech in Teaching
Students work together (within and across classes via asynchronous forum or shared document) to draft a short manifesto or set of principles for using technology responsibly and effectively in university teaching. They reflect on what they learned and commit to values they will carry into their own teaching practice.
