¿De qué trata este proyecto?
This project is about students becoming space engineers and planning, building, testing, and improving a small space home that can help astronauts live safely in space. Students explore real space problems like air, water, heat, cold, and no gravity, work with international classmates, create hands-on models using simple materials, and learn how ideas used in space can also help solve problems on Earth.

By the end of this project, students will be able to:
Understand basic space survival needs such as air, water, temperature, and gravity.
Explain why living in space is challenging and how astronauts solve these problems.
Apply their ideas by building a simple space home model using everyday or recycled materials.
Analyze different space home designs and compare what works best and why.
Create an improved space home solution and clearly share their ideas with others through models and presentations.

Project Timeline – Space Home Project
Week 1: Introduction & Exploration
Learn about space and the challenges of living there (air, water, heat, gravity).
Watch videos and see pictures of space stations and space homes.
Share ideas and questions about space living.
Complete the initial evaluation.
Week 2: Understanding the Problem
Do simple activities and experiments related to space survival.
Discuss why astronauts need special homes in space.
Work with classmates (and partner class, if any) to list main problems to solve.
Week 3: Building the Space Home
Draw ideas for a space home.
Make a model using paper, cardboard, or waste materials.
Label parts showing how the home helps astronauts survive.
Week 4: Testing & Improving
Check if the model solves space problems (discussion-based testing).
Get feedback from classmates or teachers.
Improve the model based on suggestions.
Week 5: Sharing & Reflection
Present the final space home model to the class.
Explain how it works and what problems it solves.
Complete the final evaluation and reflect on learning.
