International Tiger Day – A Day to Remember 🐯🧡 “Saving the Stripes, Saving the Future”- Project hosted by Tr Hanumant Deshmukh Sir @Class2Class.org International Tiger Day celebration was full of learning, and global connection! 🌍✨ A big thank you to Ms. Jhansi Ravikumar for boosting my confidence about creating and executing my first project. Her expertise has paved the way. TEENY students presented Tiger's importance and role of govt. and citizen's in protecting tigers. The Mudumalai Tiger reserve virtual tour was amazingwho spoke with confidence. Reserve. They shared how this beautiful forest is not only a home for tigers, but also a symbol of nature’s strength and beauty. I completed the Tiger Day Run for 5 km at Wagholi which name resonates Tiger. The naming story also continued with people and places. A creative Sudoku activity to help students learn about India’s 15 tiger reserves. Class XI students of The Lexicon International School wrote amazing acronyms for TIGERS . Those words reminded us: When we protect tigers, we protect life. 🧩 Tr. Pratima Hanumant Deshmukh’s students from JSPM's Prodigy Public school shared a touching poem about tigers in zoos and in the wild. Their words made us feel the difference between being caged and being free. Student Abhinav Deshmukh gave a beautiful awareness talk on the book “A Tiger for Malgudi” by R.K. Narayan,the central tiger character is named Raja.. He explained how tigers teach us to live in balance with nature and respect all living things. Tr Vishal Mhaske Sir reminded all students to love nature and care for the environment. His message was simple and powerful—every small act of kindness to nature makes a big difference. Tr Bhawna Dhingra Mam’s students brought happy smiles to everyone with their colourful tiger masks! 🐯 Their creativity showed that awareness can be fun and meaningful at the same time.All students presented well. Ambassador Tr Md Nasim Sir from Bangladesh joined and shared important points about the Royal Bengal Tigers in the Sundarbans. He spoke about the dangers these tigers face and how we all must act fast to protect them. Students from Vietnam beautifully shared their messages. Their presentations were beautiful, clear, and very well presented. Their strong voices and deep care for wildlife truly inspired us all. Thank you Tr Thanh Vân And a warm thank you to Tr. Olha from Ukraine, who joined the session just to support and encourage the young voices. Her presence made the celebration even more special. This day was not just about tigers. It was about hope, unity, and the power of young voices coming together for a better world. Let’s keep this energy alive and continue to protect our tigers, forests, and future. 🐅🌍 Thank you to all the teachers and students who joined today's session.
