🌍Create Solutions: My Land, My Cultural Pride @ Class2Class.org 🌍 In today's project, "My Land, My Cultural Pride," we celebrated the beauty of global cultures through the creative medium of comics. Teachers and students from around the world shared their rich traditions, stories, and heritage in an engaging and artistic way. Here’s a glimpse of what was shared: Bharatanatyam: We enjoyed an informative presentation on this classical dance form from Tamil Nadu, followed by a vibrant video showcasing its intricate movements and cultural significance. Silapadikaram: One of the project highlights was a powerful retelling of the Tamil epic, Silapadikaram. The story of Kovalan and Kannagi’s tragic love and quest for justice left us all reflecting on the timeless lessons of honor and truth. Myanmar Tea Leaf Salad: We delved into a unique flavourful tea leaf salad. The presentation offered fascinating details about it's ingredients, preparation and cultural importance. Malaysian Culinary Heritage: We were introduced to Asampedas, a traditional dish from Melaka, reflecting the region’s spice trade heritage. A student captured its essence perfectly with the caption: “East or West, Asampedas Best”. She beautifully reflected how asampedas is more than a dish—it's a way to connect hearts and cultures. This was an enriching cultural exchange. Every culture has something valuable to offer, and through these collaborations, we continue to learn, appreciate, and grow together.
