Embark on an exciting journey with your international friends! In this project, students aged around 10 will celebrate International Friendship Day by connecting with their peers from around the world by exchanging cultural boxes full of suprises!! Through fun and engaging activities, students will learn about different cultures, introduce their own traditions and customs to one another, and build lifelong friendships that transcend borders.

Step 1: Friendship matchmaking
- Teachers introduce the exciting project to their students.
- Learn the partner country on a website or any other materials.
- Connect with partner classrooms from different countries through the Class2Class.org platform.
Step 2: Friendship fun
- Students exchante boxes filled with their local snacks and sweets, and hopefully their letters.
- Teachers guide students in reflecting on the importance of friendship and how it can make the world a better place.
Step 3: Friendship festival
- Students share their experiences, crafts, and stories with their international friends.
- Classes celebrate International Friendship Day with a virtual party, showcasing their friendships and having a blast together.
- The Indian students teach how to draw rangoli while the Japanese ones show how to make an origami craft in the online meeting.
Collaborative activities
- Virtual play dates. Students engage in fun, guided activities with their international friends, such as games, singing, and dancing.
- Storytelling. Students share their favorite stories or create new ones together, featuring themes of friendship and kindness.
