Objetivos de aprendizaje
Students will be able to identify and describe environmental problems in their local community and explain why the Earth is important for maintaining life and ecosystems, while sharing their observations with students from partner classrooms.
Students will be able to apply collaborative thinking to demonstrate small, actionable steps they can take to help save the Earth, and compare their environmental solutions with those from their international partner classroom to recognize different ways people care for our planet.

Launch the Project: Saving Our Earth Together
Teacher presents Activity 1 by showing students an engaging short picture book about environmental care around the world, asking them to notice different ways people protect the Earth in their communities.
Connect with Our Partner Classroom
Each student records or writes a personal message: 'Hello friends! My name is... and I care about Earth because...' and posts their introduction on the project board for the partner class to view.
Explore Our Driving Question: How Do We Save the Earth?
Teacher presents the central driving question: 'How do we save the Earth, even with small steps?' and asks students to think about what this question means to them.
Create Our Earth Care Story: Local Presentation
Teacher organizes students into small teams (3-4 students per team) and assigns each team one environmental focus area: water, air, litter, plants, or animals in their community.
Exchange and Compare: What We Discovered Together
Students view the partner class's environmental stories and observations asynchronously through the project board, watching their videos, slide shows, or reading their descriptions.
Reflect on Our Intercultural Learning Journey
Teacher facilitates a whole-group reflection circle where students share: 'What was the most surprising thing you learned about the other class? How did meeting them change how you think about Earth?'
