Our School Magazines: Discovering What Readers Value Across Cultures

Students introduce themselves and their school to the partner class, then take a first look at both magazines together. They share what they notice at first glance.

In teams, students study their own magazine and the partner class magazine. They describe the main sections and compare how stories, photos, and headlines show each community and culture.

Teams use a simple digital tool to build a short survey on which features readers value most. They collect answers from classmates, then analyze the results and agree on what engages readers best.

Each team presents its comparison and survey conclusions to the partner class. Students then ask questions and reflect on what they learned about each other's culture.
