Actividades del proyecto

1

Market Around the World: Explore and Connect

Students watch short videos or photos of markets from their own community and their partner class's location, then discuss what makes each market unique. They share initial observations in a live video call or forum post to introduce themselves and spark curiosity about cultural differences in how people buy, sell, and communicate.

Duración: 30 minutos
2

Research and Script: Local and Global Market Dialogues

Students research authentic market conversations and practices from both their local context and their partner class's culture through interviews, videos, or written guides. They work in small groups to write realistic market dialogue scripts that blend both perspectives, practicing listening and speaking skills while learning how communication styles differ across cultures.

Duración: 90 minutos
3

Create and Exchange: Film Your Market Roleplay

Student groups rehearse and film or record their market exchange roleplay scenarios, then share the videos asynchronously with their partner class for feedback. Partners watch, comment on what felt authentic and what showed cultural understanding, and suggest improvements to make the exchange even more realistic and engaging.
