Actividades del proyecto
Global Issue Deep Dive and Team Formation
Students explore a global issue together with their international partner class, research key positions and evidence, and form mixed international teams. They begin identifying cultural perspectives and building relationships with their debate partners.
Argument Construction and Evidence Gathering
Teams research assigned debate positions, develop well-reasoned arguments with supporting evidence, and prepare rebuttals. They practice critical thinking and emotional intelligence by anticipating counterarguments and considering how cultural differences shape persuasion strategies.
Live Debate Tournament and Reflection
Mixed international teams compete in a moderated live debate tournament on the global issue, arguing assigned positions in real time. After the tournament, students reflect on how imagination, confidence, and cultural perspective influenced their argumentation, listening, and collaboration.
