Investigating Barriers to Adult Education Worldwide

Students meet their partner class by video, introduce their communities, and brainstorm the main barriers adults face when returning to education, such as work, cost, and childcare.

Using a shared research framework, mixed student teams gather data on barriers and existing policies and programs in their community and the partner country, then organize and compare their findings.

Together with the partner class, students assess which policies and programs are most effective and justify their choices, then turn the results into a short shared report.

Teams present their comparison and recommendations to the partner class in a video session, then reflect on what they learned about collaboration and adult education worldwide.
