Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to identify and describe their own city or country's cultural traditions, food, and customs, and explain how these elements reflect their community's identity and values.
Students will be able to demonstrate intercultural communication by selecting and organizing cultural content that authentically represents their heritage for a global audience, collaborating with peers to ensure inclusive representation.
Students will be able to analyze how their local cultural traditions connect to global themes such as sustainability, community values, and children's rights, and compare these connections with traditions from international partner classrooms.
Students will be able to evaluate the effectiveness of their cultural showcase design by assessing how well it communicates their traditions to a global audience and gathering feedback from international peers to refine their presentation.
Students will be able to design and create an interactive, week-long cultural showcase that combines authentic presentations, recipes, and activities, then lead a live international dialogue that builds meaningful connections between classrooms and inspires collaborative reflection on shared human values.
