Objetivos de aprendizaje
Students will be able to identify and describe the key components of women's self-help groups, Amul Parlor franchise models, and local community needs through collaborative research with international peers.
Students will be able to apply critical thinking to demonstrate how local resources, cultural contexts, and market conditions shape a viable SHG business plan for their community.
Students will be able to analyze and compare different franchise models, funding mechanisms, and operational challenges by examining case studies from their own region and partner classrooms globally.
Students will be able to evaluate the feasibility and social impact of their proposed Amul Parlor business plan based on peer feedback from international collaborators and evidence-based sustainability criteria.
Students will be able to design and refine a comprehensive, actionable business proposal that integrates adaptive leadership strategies, collaborative team roles, and scalable solutions addressing real SHG entrepreneurship challenges.

Understanding SHG Models and Local Opportunities
Students watch the Amul Parlor video, research women's self-help groups in their region, and map local market needs, available resources, and barriers women entrepreneurs face. They prepare a one-page summary of their community context to share with the partner class.
Design and Develop Your SHG Business Proposal
Students work in teams to design a comprehensive Amul Parlor business plan tailored to their community, including location analysis, startup costs, funding sources, operational roles, and risk mitigation strategies. They create a detailed proposal document and prepare a pitch for peer review.
Live Exchange and Peer Feedback Session
Students present their business proposals to the partner class via video call, receive real-time feedback on feasibility and social impact, and ask questions about the partner class's context and solutions. Both classes take notes on strengths, gaps, and innovative ideas from each other's plans.
Refine and Finalize Your Business Plan
Using feedback from the partner class, students revise their proposal, strengthen weak sections, and document how they adapted their model based on peer input. They create a final, polished version ready for real SHG groups or community stakeholders to review.
Present Impact and Lessons Learned
Students present their final business plan and reflect on what they learned about entrepreneurship, women's empowerment, and global collaboration. They discuss how their proposal could genuinely support women's self-help groups and what challenges remain.
