Introducing the Challenge: Local Context and Global Goals

Students explore a real-world challenge in their own community, research its connection to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and prepare to meet their international partners. They share initial observations, questions, and local perspectives in a brief video or written introduction.

Collaborative Research and Root Cause Analysis

Working in multicultural teams with their partner class, students conduct shared research to understand the challenge from multiple perspectives, identify root causes, and gather evidence. They use forums, shared documents, or video calls to compare local contexts and exchange findings.

Evaluating Solutions and Cultural Perspectives

Teams analyze innovative approaches and solutions from both contexts, assess their feasibility and cultural fit, and gather feedback from community members or stakeholders. They create a comparative analysis of what works in each setting and why.
