Actividades del proyecto
What Does Business Mean Here? Local Exploration
Students explore and document how businesses operate in their own community, interviewing local entrepreneurs or business owners and observing business practices. They gather examples of different business models, values, and how these businesses serve their local economy.
Analyze and Prepare: Business Models Deep Dive
Students organize their local findings into a structured analysis of business models, practices, and cultural values. They create a research brief or comparative chart documenting key patterns, challenges, and unique features of businesses in their community, ready to share with the partner class.
Live Video Exchange: Comparing Business Across Cultures
Students join a live video call with the partner class to present their local business findings and listen to the international partners' observations. Through structured dialogue, they ask questions, identify common patterns, and note cultural differences in how businesses operate and serve their communities.
Collaborative Analysis: Patterns and Insights
Working in small groups, students synthesize findings from both communities to identify shared business challenges, successful practices, and cultural values that shape local economies. They create a concept map or infographic showing how business models differ and overlap across the two cultures.
Reflect and Present: Global Business Insights
Students present their collaborative analysis and reflect on what they learned about intercultural business practices and their own community's economic context. They share key insights about how culture, geography, and values shape business models, and discuss what surprised them or challenged their assumptions.
