Students will be able to identify and describe mobile phone addiction triggers, notifications, and app design patterns in their own lives and those of international peers.
Students will be able to demonstrate critical thinking by analyzing interview data and observations to explain the psychological and social reasons their generation struggles with phone dependency.
Students will be able to compare and contrast mobile phone usage patterns, addiction triggers, and emotional responses between their local community and international partner classrooms.
Students will be able to evaluate the effectiveness of different strategies for managing phone addiction while collaborating with peers from other countries to develop culturally-informed recommendations.

Phone Habits Snapshot: What Hooks Us?
Students reflect on their own phone use, noting which apps, notifications, and features keep them engaged the most. They share observations with classmates and identify common triggers, then prepare 2-3 key questions to ask their international partner class about their phone habits.
Addiction Deep Dive: Research, Interview & Compare
Students conduct interviews with peers and family members about phone use, gather data on notifications and app design features, and research the psychology behind phone addiction. They compile findings in a simple chart or document, then exchange research and observations with their partner class asynchronously to compare local and international patterns.
Solutions & Recommendations Showcase
Working in small groups with input from partner-class feedback, students develop and present practical strategies for managing phone addiction that respect cultural differences. They create a short visual summary (poster, infographic, or slides) showing their top recommendations and reflect on what they learned about their generation's relationship with phones.
