World First Aid Day - Lifesaving Skills in Action I had the wonderful opportunity to welcome participants from different countries to a special session on World First Aid Day, organized by The Changemakers at Class2Class.org. We focused on the importance of First Aid and how it can truly save lives in emergencies. Our guest speaker, Mr. Chandran, a retired railway officer and expert in first aid, shared his inspiring journey of over 50 years in saving lives and teaching first aid to many. His dedication and achievements, including the prestigious Jeevan Raksha Medal, were a true inspiration to all of us. Together, we learned valuable tips, from how to handle road accidents safely, to treating cuts, burns, and other injuries effectively. Mr. Chandran reminded us that quick and skillful actions can make all the difference. This session brought together students, teachers, and participants from Taiwan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Kanpur, showing that first aid is a skill we all need, no matter where we are. Thank you to all the amazing participants and to everyone who helped make this session a success! Let’s continue spreading the message and practice what we learned to make our communities safer.
