What is this project about?
International Friendship Day ! The Change Makers @www.class2class.org Date: July 28th, 2024, Sunday Time: 6 PM (India Time) Age of Students: 10 to 19 years Platform: Zoom Presentations: None Objective Celebrate International Friendship Day by fostering cross-cultural understanding and promoting strong, positive relationships among students. Activities Discussion Session • Each teacher, in turn, selects one student to answer questions about friendship and share personal insights. • Why is it important to have friends from different cultures? • How can you be a better friend to others? • What do you think is the most important quality in a friend? • Can friends disagree and still be good friends? How? • What are some ways to make new friends? Team-based Quizizz Game • A fun and interactive game focused on friendship, teamwork, and cultural diversity. Expected Outcome Enhanced Understanding and Cultural Awareness Students will gain a deeper insight into the value of friendship and develop greater empathy and a global perspective. The event will also strengthen bonds within and between school teams, fostering a sense of community and mutual respect.

IndiaWe had an amazing International Friendship Day celebration with participants from different countries at The Change Makers @www.class2class.org! 🌟🌍 The session was filled with fun and interactive activities like a quiz and a drawing session. We also had inspiring presentations on the importance of friendship and the value of having friends from diverse cultures. A big thank you to Mr Chris Bent for your support and guidance in using Piccles. It was an amazing experience! Special thanks to Ambassador Tr. Nasim, Bangladesh Tr. Vathsala, Malaysia Tr. Yohanes Djoni, Indonesia Tr. Malika Bouharrada, Morocco Tr. Gurjot Mam, India Tr Nikita, India Tr. Adnan AJ, Pakistan Tr. Anani, Nigeria Participants shared their personal experiences with friendship and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to connect and learn from each other. It was a heartwarming and enriching experience for everyone involved! 💖 Thank you to all who joined and made this day special! Let’s continue to cherish and celebrate our friendships every day! 😊✨
