Phase:Presentation & Dissemination

Step 1: Define the Challenge
Students reviewed the Global Lab Challenge and chose to respond by creating a mobile app. Given their familiarity with app development, they immediately saw this as the best way to address the collaborative problems presented.

Step 2: Develop the Concept
Although their teacher suggested using a pre-made template to save time, the students decided to design everything from scratch. They wanted to express their own creative solutions and demonstrate their full capabilities.

Step 3: Design and Collaborate
Using Figma and Canva, students designed all visual elements of the app, including icons and interface layouts. Collaboration took place after school and during late evenings, with communication handled through Microsoft Teams.

Step 4: Build the Prototype
They developed key features like real-time chat, task tracking, progress visualization, project showcasing, and collaborative reflection tabs. Each function was mapped out carefully to address the specific challenges of distance collaboration.

Step 5: Final Presentation and Reflection
Students compiled their final prototype into a presentation. They reflected on what they had learned, emphasizing improved communication, time management, teamwork, and how technology can turn distance into a strength.
