What is this project about?
Each song reflects a story , emotion , culture or real life experience .It may change from culture to culture .This project may help student understand that music is more important than just sound or entertainment.Also The poject help student explore the meaning, message and background of songs. Students can develop listening, research , and interpretation skills.They can understand how song reflect culture , history and personal experiences. Lasty, they can strengthen their presentation skills

Learning Outcomes
Learning Objectives :
Firstly , students will improve language and communıcation skills. They will learn the stories of other countries's songs. They can improve research skills by searching the background of the songs. They will search " When the song is written , who the song is written for, what is the public or personal impact of the song , what is the meaning of the lyrics and why the song was written".Lasty they can share the information effectively with international peers through a video presentation. So , they will able to explore traditional songs from other countries.

STEP 1
Firstly , teachers will choose eager students to participate in this project . They will introduce the project by explaining its purpose and guiding students to explore traditional songs from their culture.
STEP 2
Students wil select one song or multiple songs which they make sure each songs has a meaningful background ( lyrics , history or personal story)
STEP 3
Students will search the story behind each song. While searching the story , students can answer the following questions.
- What the lyrics tell us
- historical or social context
- meaning of the lyrics
- why the song was written
- public or personal impact of the song
- artist's bakground and inspiration
STEP 4
Students will analyze background of the song. They will highlight the key lines and metaphors and explain emotions, loves, identity, hope or resistance. They will tell us why they choose this song , What it means to them or their society , how it reflects a culture , generation or a moment in history .
STEP 5
Students will share their researches to other peers br creating visual or audio elements . they can choose one or combine several the followings:
- poster or exhibition board
- digital presenting ( poverpoint or Canva )
- short video or animation
