
Creating the digital book of my experience
What is this project about?
Students from different countries collect and share personal stories and photos about their school and after school experiences through a collaborative digital platform. Each classroom explores and demonstrates one simple digital tool for creating digital books, then shares their tool choice and a sample page with international peers, reflecting on how different tools help tell their unique cultural school stories.

Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to identify and describe various digital tools for creating digital books and explain how students from different countries can use these tools to document their school and after-school experiences.
Students will be able to demonstrate collaboration and intercultural communication by applying selected digital tools to create a collaborative digital book that integrated diverse perspectives and experiences from their international partner classrooms.

Week 1
Launch the digital Book Project
Students find out the type of creation of the book in the classroom exploring how Book creator, Canva, Google slides can be useful and helpful to share their stories.
Teacher explaines the project purpose.
Students discuss why sharing cultural stories through digital books matters for building global understanding and the teacher clarifies project goals and the importance of intercultural exchange.
Week 2
Share, Compare and Exchange International stories
Each class uploads their collected stories and documentation to a shared Project Board folder organized by country making materials accessible to all partner classrooms. Students from Russia, Pakistan, Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, Moldova, Japan and other countries review materials, photos, watch videos and understand different school experiences.
Week 3
Co-create Our Collaborative Digital Book
Students are organized into International Teams with mixed members from Russia, Pakistan, Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, Moldova, Japan and other countries ensuring the diverse perspectives in each group.
TEAMS collaboratively create a digital book integrating stories from all partner classrooms with each team contributing 2-3 pages representing their country's school experiences.
Week 4
Showcase Our digital Books to the World
Each International team prepares 3-5 minute presentation about their practice, preparation, team working and key design choices. Also, they show what they learned about each other's cultures during the creation process.
