This project harnesses the excitement and imagination of Universal Children's Day to engage students in the quest for quality education for all. By embracing the concept of superheroes, the project empowers students to see themselves as agents of change, capable of making a difference in the lives of children worldwide.

Step 1: Superhero origin stories
- Use the "Connect" section to find a partner class.
- Create the project and invite your partner class.
- Students learn about Universal Children's Day and the importance of quality education.
- Each student creates their own education superhero persona, complete with a unique name, superpower, and origin story related to promoting education.
Step 2: Superhero team-up
- Students are paired with international partners to form superhero teams.
- Teams participate in virtual activities and challenges related to education, such as researching the most common barriers to accessing education. Some examples:
- In some regions, schools lack textbooks, educational materials or trained teachers, which limits the quality of teaching.
- In many regions, students do not have access to electronic devices such as computers, tablets or reliable internet to participate in digital education.
Step 3: Superhero missions
- Teams embark on virtual "missions" to explore real-world examples of initiatives and organizations promoting education worldwide. Some examples:
- Students can investigate how organizations such as Room to Read or Khan Academy provide free educational resources.
- Students can research different initiatives around the world that are trying to bridge the digital divide, such as laptop donation projects or free internet programmes.
- Students create short videos, comics, or presentations showcasing their superhero team's mission and impact.
Step 4: Superhero showcase
- Teams present their superhero missions to the entire group through a virtual showcase event.
- Students celebrate their achievements and reflect on their learning experience, discussing how they can continue to be education superheroes in their own communities.
