What is this project about?
"Ozone Chronicles" is an engaging, creative project that combines writing, art, and teamwork to create a collaborative, illustrated storybook about the ozone layer. Students aged 6-13 will work in teams to craft an adventurous tale that educates and inspires action for ozone preservation. Step 1: Story circle formation
- Present the project in an inspiring way to motivate student participation.
- Connect with a partner class from another country through the class2class.org platform.
- Guide the students through icebreaker activities to get to know their international peers.
- Form the teams to create the stories.
Step 2: Ozone layer exploration and character creation
- Provide engaging, age-appropriate resources about the ozone layer and its importance.
- Facilitate brainstorming sessions for story ideas and character concepts.
- Guide each story circle in creating main characters for their tale (e.g., personified ozone molecules, child heroes, talking animals).
Step 3: Plot Development
