Presentation

Phase:Presentation & Dissemination

Step 1: Discovery Phase

  • Introduce the project objectives to the students, ensuring they understand the goals and purpose.
  • Each class will create a "School Passport," including photos and drawings of their school, which can be shared on the platform's board section.
  • Students may also compile a list of their favorite recess games with brief descriptions, fostering a fun and engaging way to exchange cultural insights and build connections.

Step 2: Celebrating Education
  • Each class collaborates to create a digital mural under the theme: "Why I Love My School." The mural will include:
    • Photos of students' favorite spots in their school.
    • Photos or videos showcasing their favorite schoolyard games.
    • Optional: A video featuring a traditional song or dance commonly performed at their school.
  • This activity fosters creativity and cultural exchange, celebrating the unique aspects of each learning community while encouraging shared appreciation for education.

Step 3: Virtual Encounter
  • Organize a live session where both classes can connect to discuss their experiences and share insights gained from the project.
  • Encourage students to propose creative solutions or ideas to improve education in their respective communities.
  • Include an interactive segment, such as a Q&A or brainstorming activity, to promote dialogue and mutual understanding.
  • Conclude the session by recognizing student contributions.

Assessment and reflection✍️

  • School Passport Evaluation:
    • Clear Photographs/Drawings: It will be assessed whether the photos and drawings are easy to understand and if they clearly depict the school and what they like about it.
    • Descriptive Titles: It will be evaluated whether the titles effectively explain what is shown in the photos or drawings.
    • Cultural Elements: It will be valued if the images reflect things that represent their school and community.

  • Digital Mural Evaluation:
    • Visual Creativity: It will be assessed if the mural is colorful and aesthetically pleasing.
    • Cultural Representation: Consideration will be given to whether it reflects the different cultures of each class.
    • Teamwork: It will be evaluated how well the students worked together to create the mural.

  • Reflection Questions:
    • What did I learn about schools in other countries?
    • How did I contribute to the project?
    • What surprised me the most?
    • What would I like to learn more about?
